Job description
We are on the search for an enthusiastic, passionate, and dynamic individual to join us at Sonas Hotel Collection as Pastry Chef at Skeabost House Hotel.
As the Pastry Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef and the other members of the Kitchen team to ensure we deliver a guest experience of the highest calibre. Alongside the kitchen team, you will also work closely with all other hotel departments and central support functions to ensure the overall success of the business.
Given the remote location of this role, we do offer staff accommodation for those who require it – rates to be discussed during the interview process. Our newly refurbished staff accommodation also includes staff meals. The Isle of Skye offers a unique change of pace and this role is ideal for those who want a change of scene and the opportunity to enjoy and explore some of Scotland’s most idyllic landscapes. Preparation and execution of the making of all pastry related products on our menu.

Wastage control and reporting.

Ensuring stock rotation and control.

Key requirements for this role:

Previous experience in a similar role.

A passion for hospitality and a drive to grow and develop yourself and your team.
