Job description

​

We are on the search for an enthusiastic, passionate, and dynamic individual to join us at Sonas Hotel Collection as Food & Beverage Assistant at The Knipoch Hotel. 

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to ensure we deliver a guest experience of the highest calibre.

Alongside the Food & Beverage Manager, you will also work closely with all other hotel departments and central support functions to ensure the overall success of the business.

Given the remote location of this role, we can offer staff accommodation for those who require it – rates to be discussed during the interview process.

Oban offers a unique change of pace and this role is ideal for those who want a change of scene and the opportunity to enjoy and explore some of Scotland’s most idyllic landscapes.

A snapshot of your key responsibilities: 

​

• Delivery of exceptional service to all guests of the business,

• Answering questions / queries from all guests of the business.

• Sharing local knowledge and information with all guests of the business.

• Ensuring adherence to all current legislation including but not limited to Health & Safety and Food Safety.

• Ensuring guest satisfaction in all areas of the business, and resolution / escalation of any guest concerns or complaints.

• Processing of payments in a timely and efficient manner.

• Promote a positive people culture through effective communication.

Key requirements for this role: 

• Previous experience in a similar role. 

• A passion for hospitality and a drive to grow and develop yourself. 

• Fantastic communication skills.
