Job description

We are on the search for an enthusiastic, passionate, and dynamic individual to join us at Sonas Hotel Collection

as Kitchen Porter at Duisdale House Hotel. 

 

As the Kitchen Porter, you will work closely with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure we deliver a guest experience of the highest calibre.

You are responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness and to support the kitchen team.

 

Alongside the rest of the kitchen team, you will also work closely with all other hotel departments and central support functions

to ensure the overall success of the business.

 

Given the remote location of this role, we can offer staff accommodation for those who require it – rates to be discussed during the interview process.

A snapshot of your key responsibilities: 

  • Cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and general kitchen areas. 

  • Adherence to Health & Safety legislations. 

  • Correct stock rotation and putting away of any deliveries.

  • Following of daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules. 

  • Reporting of any maintenance concerns or faulty equipment to senior management 

Key requirements for this role: 

 

  • Previous experience in a similar role. 

  • A passion for hospitality and a drive to grow and develop yourself.

  • Fantastic communication skills.

  • Ability to work well within a team.
