Job description

We are on the search for an enthusiastic, passionate, and dynamic individual to join us at Sonas Hotel Collection as Finance Administrator.


As the Finance Administrator, you will work closely with the central support teams, the operations teams and the hotel management teams to ensure the smooth running of the finance function of the business.


Given the remote location of this role, we do offer staff accommodation for those who require it – rates to be discussed during the interview process. Our newly refurbished staff accommodation also includes staff meals. The Isle of Skye offers a unique change of pace and this role is ideal for those who want a change of scene and the opportunity to enjoy and explore some of Scotland’s most idyllic landscapes. A snapshot of your key responsibilities: 

  • ·        Purchase ledger management.

  • ·        Variance Analysis.

  • ·        Assisting monthly P&L prep including accruals and pre-payments. 

  • ·        Cash book management.

  • ·        Credit control.

  • ·        Posting journals.

  • ·        Stock control management.

  • ·        Processing invoices for approval, payment and management of purchase orders.

  • ·        Reconciliation of invoices and purchases orders.

  • ·        Communication with internal and external stakeholders resolving queries.

  • ·        Posting and allocating payments.


Key requirements for this role: 


  • Previous experience in a similar role. 

  • A passion for hospitality and a drive to grow and develop yourself and your team. 

  • Fantastic communication skills.
